I was inspired by advertising boards and the many destroyed ones that I saw after hurricane Wilma.

Wilma made landfall on Cozumel, near us on my father’s birthday, I only realized while making this work that it was the last birthday I spent with him. The display shows some fragmented texts I wrote, reminiscent of my days chatting away with strangers online.

Memories fade overtime, preciously we try to hold on to them.
